MOSCOW, May 7 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has entered the presidential post for six more years on Monday.
Presidential elections took place on March 18, Putin won with 76.69% votes; the attendance was 67.54%.
Putin said during the inauguration ceremony that Russia needs groundbreaking developments in all spheres.
“We need a breakthrough in all spheres of life. I am deeply convinced that only a free society can ensure such growth, one which embraces everything new and advanced and repels injustice, negligence, zealous conservatism and deadly red tape: everything which limits people, does not let them express and fulfill themselves, their talents and this means, limits the future focus of the entire country.”
Putin said that Russia is ready for dialogue and will promote new integrative and cultural projects.
“We will be actively promoting integrative projects, strengthening business, humanitarian, cultural, scientific relations. We are standing for equality-based and mutually beneficial cooperation with all states for the interests of peace and stability on the planet.”
